THOUGHTFUL BY NATURE
Wild Lot is still growing, but sustainability has been part of the conversation from the beginning — from refill programs and compostable packaging through to water reuse, local sourcing and reducing waste where we can.
We’re not interested in perfection or greenwashing. Just making better decisions over time.
PACKAGING INNOVATION
We’re working toward 100% plastic-free, compostable packaging. We’re excited about launching in-house refill programs, aiming to significantly reduce single-use waste. We are also exploring creative up-cycling initiatives that align with our environmental goals.
RESOURCE CONSERVATION
We’re committed to integrating energy-efficient technologies and resource conservation methods into our operations. Through energy-efficient equipment, advance wastewater treatment, coolant water recirculation systems and heat recovery initiatives, designed to make every drop count, in line with our values of responsible production.
SUSTAINABLY SOURCING
By prioritising local ingredients, we support Western Australian farmers and reduce our transportation emissions, keeping our supply chain as eco-friendly as possible and strengthening the local economy.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
We’re actively engaged in advancing distilling technologies through internships & mentor programs, most recently CSIRO Innovate to Grow. Our participation in research projects not only fuels innovation but also elevates industry standards for sustainability and efficiency.
BIODIVERSITY EFFORTS
Dedicated to preserving our natural heritage, we implement practices that enhance biodiversity. From maintaining bee-friendly landscapes to using regenerative farming methods, our efforts help sustain the local flora and fauna that contribute to the unique characteristics of our spirits.
WASTE REDUCTION
Reducing waste is crucial at Wild Lot Distillery. We strive to achieve zero waste by repurposing by-products, optimising our resource use, and continually improving our waste management strategies to ensure nothing goes to landfill unnecessarily.
STILL LEARNING
Proudly accredited under the Quality Tourism Framework for Sustainable Tourism.
Some ideas are already in motion. Others are experiments, half-built systems or future projects we’re still figuring out.
That’s probably the reality of building a small regional distillery — you improve things where you can, keep learning and back yourself to do better over time.

WHY ACCESSIBILITY MATTERS

Well… that was fun.
